Tthe Cooks Tour is coming back to Moorestown on Wednesday, December 3, 2014! After a year hiatus, this annual event and holiday tradition will return for its 51st year, featuring beautifully decorated homes to ring in the holiday season!
Event proceeds support renovations to the Oncology Infusion Center at Virtua Memorial, a non-profit regional medical center located in Mt. Holly. This facility is widely used by members of our community through Virtua’s Fox Chase Cancer Program. These renovations are vital to providing patients battling cancer with the best experience possible during a very difficult time, creating a healing environment for them and their caregivers.
The Cooks Tour was started in 1962 by the Curtis Auxiliary, an all-volunteer organization founded by a group of Moorestown women. It was named in honor of Dr. Howard M. Curtis, a pediatrician at what is now known as Virtua Memorial. Over time, other auxiliaries were established throughout the region with the shared mission to support Virtua Memorial and the care it provides members of the community. The Curtis Auxiliary is excited to team up with all the Virtua Memorial auxiliaries to bring the Cooks Tour back to Moorestown this year.
